Mission Statement
The purpose of the Muskogee High School Library Media program is to provide students and staff intellectual and physical access to ideas and information, to stimulate interest in using information and ideas, to instruct students in how to find, evaluate and use information and to instill in the students an enjoyment and appreciation of literature. Basic information skills must be taught and followed up with assignments that give practice in those skills. To achieve these purposes, the library media specialist select the best materials available, efficiently organize and circulate these resources in a centralized collection, and team up with the teacher to plan a program of instruction for students.
