Latricia Dawkins
Principal, 6th & 7th Grade Academy @ Ben Franklin
An educator for over 25 years, Latricia Dawkins has been selected as the 6th & 7th Grade Academy at Ben Franklin Principal. A 1989 Muskogee High School graduate, began her teaching career at Muskogee Alternative Program upon completion of her Bachelor’s Degree at Langston University.
Her family relocated to Saginaw, Michigan where she spent nine years in the classroom at the secondary level. She was promoted to Assistant Principal in 2004 and two years later was named Principal of Loomis Math, Science, and Technology Academy.
She rejoined MPS in 2019 as an Assistant Principal at the 7th & 8th Grade Academy and was Principal of House Invictus at Muskogee High School this past school year. Mrs. Dawkins holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University and recently resumed her doctoral studies.
Lisa Charboneau
House Principal, 6th & 7th Grade Academy @ Ben Franklin
Mrs. Charboneau has been with Muskogee Public Schools for seven years, and currently holds the position of House Principal at Muskogee High School. She has also served the district as a classroom teacher, 9th Grade principal, and 11th Grade principal.
In 2005, Mrs. Charboneau received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University. She received her Master of Education in Public School Administration degree in 2009, it too, from Northeastern State University. She is a member of CCOSA and OEA professional organizations.
In her free time, Mrs. Charboneau enjoys reading, camping, boating and spending time with her family, which includes: her husband, Charles, their three children, Lindsey, Joseph, and April, and her grandson Charlie.

D'Amber Desmuke Bunch

D’Amber Bunch, comes to Muskogee Public Schools with 10 years of experience in education. She began her career in Dallas, Texas where she was an elementary and secondary classroom teacher at the Academy of Dallas. She spent four years as a classroom teacher and a year as a behavioral at-risk specialist for Plano ISD. In 2014, Mrs. Bunch relocated to her hometown of Muskogee and served as the Job Placement Specialist at Indian Capital Technology Center for five years before joining the Muskogee Public Schools family this year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication from The University of Central Oklahoma. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Mrs. Bunch has a strong passion for working with young people and believes that all students have the ability to be anything they dream. It is the responsibility of their educational leaders to inspire them to embrace their abilities and set a standard of excellence. Mrs. Bunch is a devoted and loving wife and proud mother of five children.
