March Early Release Day and Spring Break
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMUSKOGEE, Okla. - The Muskogee Public Schools instructional calendar for March includes an early release day on Wednesday, March 8 and Spring Break. Beginning on Monday, March 13 school sites will be closed for Spring Break. District offices will close beginning Thursday, March 16. All operations will resume as normal on Monday, March 20.
On Wednesday, March 8, all pre-kindergarten students will be released at 12:30 p.m. All kindergarten through fifth grade students will be released at 1:00 p.m. All sixth through twelfth grade students will be released at 1:45 p.m.
Daily schedules will be modified to allow students to meet with all of their teachers and have lunch before being dismissed for the day. After school transportation including bus routes and car lines will operate as usual but take place at earlier times. After school programming and activities will not take place. Parents should plan accordingly for childcare.
The 2022-23 Muskogee Public Schools Instructional Calendar is available online at the district’s website and includes one remaining early release day which will take place on Wednesday, April 12.
Early release days provide an opportunity for educators throughout the district to complete professional development and training.
