Pride of Muskogee Debuts New Show Ahead of Competition

Launch the media gallery 1 playerMUSKOGEE, Okla. - The Pride of Muskogee marching band debuted their full 2022 competition show Thursday evening ahead of their departure to attend the North Central Iowa Marching Band Invitational competition. Participation in the competition marks a new era for the program which is in its first season under the leadership of Mike Sisco.
The 2022 competition show titled “Under the Red Hood” presents a twist on classic child’s tale Little Red Riding Hood where things are not always as they seem. The performance includes musical selections “Natural” by Imagine Dragons and “Creep” by RadioHead.
The band will participate in North Central Iowa Invitational, Broken Arrow Invitational, Branson Invitational, Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association, and Oklahoma Bandmasters Association competitions this season.
Presentation of the full show will take place again during the half-time performance of the Muskogee High School Homecoming football game on Friday, September 30.
