MPS 2022-23 Instructional Calendar Includes Early Release Days
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMUSKOGEE, Okla. - The 2022-23 Instructional Calendar is available online at the district’s website and includes seven early release days. Early release days take place on Wednesday’s and occur on the following dates.
- Wednesday, September 14, 2022
- Wednesday, October 12, 2022
- Wednesday, November 9, 2022
- Wednesday, January 11,2033
- Wednesday, February 8, 2023
- Wednesday, March 8, 2023
- Wednesday, April 12, 2023
On these dates, all pre-kindergarten students will be released at 12:30 p.m. All kindergarten through fifth grade students will be released at 1:00 p.m. All sixth through twelfth grade students will be released at 1:45 p.m. Daily schedules will be modified to allow students to meet with all of their teachers and have lunch before being dismissed for the day.
After school transportation including bus routes and car lines will operate as usual but take place at earlier times. After school programming and activities will not take place on these dates. Parents should plan accordingly for childcare. Additional instruction for secondary athletes will be provided at a later date.
Early release days provide an opportunity for educators throughout the district to complete professional development and training.
