MHS Men’s Basketball to Host Inaugural Basketball Coaches Leadership Symposium
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMUSKOGEE, Okla. - Muskogee High School Men’s Basketball head coach Lou Dawkins is set to host the inaugural Basketball Coaches Leadership Symposium on Saturday, August 27. The event will take place at the Ron D. Milam Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of Muskogee High School.
The one-day leadership event will feature a line-up of speakers including university head coaches and ESPN College Basketball Analyst Alvin “Pooh” Williamson. The speakers are Eric Konkol, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at the University of Tulsa; Angie Nelp, Head Women’s Coach at the University of Tulsa; Justin Barkley, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Rogers State University; and Ja Havens, Head Men’s Coach at Northeastern State University.
Pre-registration rates end on Monday, August 15 and are $95 for individuals and $325 for a group of five. On-site registration is $125 per person. Personal checks and cash are not accepted. Money orders and school district checks or purchase orders should be made payable to Muskogee Public Schools - Boys Basketball Program.
