MPS Updates MHS, 6th Grade Academy Plans
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMUSKOGEE, Okla. - Muskogee Public Schools announced Wednesday afternoon that students at the 6th Grade Academy @ Grant Foreman will return to in-person instruction on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Muskogee High School students will continue with virtual instruction the remainder of the week and return to in-person instruction on Monday, March 1, 2021.
Following unprecedented frigid temperatures in addition to rolling power outages last week both sites suffered issues with heating and air conditioning infrastructure.
MPS maintenance and operations employees have worked diligently in the last week to prepare both sites for the return of students.
Teachers and staff are excited to welcome students back to both locations in the coming days and MPS thanks our families for their understanding and grace during this inconvenience.
Families from both sites are encouraged to contact their Principal and front office with any questions or concerns they may have.
