Muskogee Public Schools Qualifies Eleven for State at Regional Science and Engineering Fair
MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Muskogee Public Schools made a strong showing at the 54th Annual Greater Muskogee Area Regional Science Fair held Wednesday at the Muskogee Civic Center.
Sadler Arts Academy’s Jenna Phillips earned first place in the junior division with her project titled “Antibiotic Resistance - The Evolution of a Superbug.” Phillips also received the judges’ award in memory of Dr. C.L. Oglesbee in Medicine and Health.
In total, eleven projects from Muskogee Public Schools qualified for the State Fair to be held March 26-28, 2020 at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla.
Qualifiers for the State Science Fair are Kensignton Moore (Sadler Arts Academy), Jenna Phillips (Sadler Arts Academy), Luke Jamison (Sadler Arts Academy), Luis Arteaga (Muskogee High School), Brylie Mead (Muskogee High School), Mallory Garner (Muskogee High School), Kynnli Jones (Sadler Arts Academy), Parks Johnsey (Sadler Arts Academy), Alexandra Locke (Sadler Arts Academy), Mylee Aylward and Alizabeth Davis (7th & 8th Grade Academy @ Benjamin Franklin), and Gracie Munzenrider and Lucy Tyrrell (Muskogee High School).
