Launch the media gallery 1 playerMuskogee elementary parents are invited to attend the 2019 Rougher Youth Sports Academy (RYSA) Parent Informational Meeting on Wednesday, November 20th at 6:00 pm in the Muskogee High School Library. The Rougher Youth Sports Academy (RYSA) is a cooperation between the Muskogee Public Schools Athletic Department and the Muskogee Police Department to provide year-round recreational sports programs for the youth of Muskogee. This partnership will bring together both city and school officials to create an organized and dynamic mix of sports offerings. We just concluded our flag football season with great success and we are looking forward to what our winter Basketball season has to offer!
Winter basketball will be available for grades 2nd-6th. We are looking for volunteer parent coaches who are organized and eager to share and learn the game of basketball. We are hoping to form several teams from each elementary school and the 6th-Grade center, respectively.
Boys Teams from each school - 2nd/3rd grade combined, 4th/5th grade combined, 6th grade.
Girls Teams from each school - 2nd/3rd grade combined, 4th/5th grade combined, 6th grade.
Tentative Season Dates:
December 7, 14, 21,
January 4, 11, 18
January 25th Playoffs(single game elimination)
