Rougher Varsity Basketball Season Tickets on Sale Monday
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMUSKOGEE, Okla. – Muskogee Roughers 2019-2020 varsity basketball season tickets will be on sale beginning Monday, Nov. 11 in the Athletic Department Office located at the main high school office.
Season tickets packages cost $56 and can be purchased between 8 a.m. and Noon, Monday through Friday.
Seven homes games dot the 2019-2020 varsity basketball schedule with the home opener on Dec. 10 as the Bartlesville Bruins visit the Roughers inside Maj. Ron Milam Gymnasium for Alumni Night. Girls tip at 6:30 p.m. with the boys game to follow with an 8 p.m. start time.
Winter Homecoming will take place January 31, 2020 as MHS faces the Jenks Trojans. Senior Night will see the Owasso Rams visit the Roughers on Feb. 18.
Former Rougher and Muskogee Athletics Hall of Famer Lynwood Wade takes the reins of the boy’s basketball program. A 1990 graduate of MHS, Wade was an All-Stater as a senior as he helped the Roughers to a State Tournament appearance. He joins MHS from East Central High School in Tulsa, Okla. where he led the Cardinals to three regional championships and a 2016 State Tournament appearance.
Jeremy Ford was named head coach of the Muskogee girl’s basketball team this summer joining the Green and White from Cascia Hall Preparatory School in Tulsa. Under his guidance, the Commandoes girl’s basketball team earned a district championship and area tournament appearance with two student-athletes earning all-conference honors.
