Muskogee JOM Hosts Backpack Giveaway

JOM Backpack giveaway will take place at the New Tech at Alice Robertson building.

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Muskogee Public Schools’ Johnson O’Malley students are invited to attend the 2019 JOM Backpack Giveaway at the New Tech at Alice Robertson building on Tuesday, August 6 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, August 8 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to all MPS JOM students of all grade levels.

Parents will need to bring their student’s CDIB or Tribal Membership card. Parents will also need to fill out a 506 form and a survey onsite. Once all three of those items are received the student will be receive a free backpack.

Per Muscogee Creek Nation JOM rules students must have their own CDIB or Tribal Card. A parent’s card can only be used if that parent has at least 50% blood quantum.
